Schedule a Consultation

Our initial consultations are free and we can meet with you at any one of our 11 NJ office locations.  Please be advised that office hours are 8:30 to 5:30.  Night and weekend appointments may be available at a few of our offices.  If you are out of state or you cannot make it to one of our offices, we can schedule a telephone consultation.

Please also be advised that a free consultation does not mean that we can or will provide free legal advice.  Our best clients are clients that are educated about the divorce process and this firm.  This blog was created to do both.  Thus, we prefer not to meet with clients  that are “attorney shopping”.  If this blog does not give you the information you need to help you decide if you should hire this firm over another, then I don’t see how the initial consultation will be productive.

How much will your divorce cost?  There is no way to tell and the ethics rules that govern attorneys in New Jersey prevent us from charging flat rates.  Thus, we set a retainer that starts at $1500 for basic cases up to $5000 for more complicated cases.  Hourly rates for attorneys range from about $200 to $500 depending on which attorney is working on the case.

In most cases, the retainer is expected to be paid in full at the end of the consultation.  Although there is no obligation to actually hire the firm after the consultation, most of our best clients do because they set up the consultation with the intent on hiring the firm, the financial resources to do so and without the need to speak to anyone else or hesitate for any other reason.

If you are ready to “divorce different”, please call us today to set up your free, initial consultation at 732-773-2768.
